Research Services

ChemoTactics provides a variety of research services to our clients. We help prioritize the experiments and work needed to efficiently move projects forward. Below are examples of the services we currently offer. We are happy to consider services not listed below.

For more information contact us via email or call us.

Protein Engineering & Expression

Our expertise lies in optimizing protocols for difficult to express proteins. We can produce chemokines, cytokines, growth factors, toxins, and other soluble proteins. We are well experienced in protein expression using various cell lines (bacterial and mammalian). We can also provide optimized protocols to help you to produce proteins in your own lab.

We perform and offer consultation for:
  • Choosing which expression system to use depending on the protein of interest.
  • Optimizing the molecular biology sequence construct and expression vector.
  • Fusion protein design for increased stability if needed.
  • Purification tag selection, location, and cleavage.
  • Identifying stable buffer conditions for proper folding and storage of final protein construct.
  • Activity assay design to confirm proper functionality.

We provide consultation and services for various in vitro cell based or protein assays. Our capabilities include:
  • Chemokine induced migration assays
  • Various T - Cell assays and Proliferation studies to measure the effects of activated immune cells in the tumor microenvironment.
  • Multicellular co-culture assays to mimic the TME.
  • HTS assays to screen libraries in cell or biochemical assays.
  • In vitro pharmacology characterization at various receptors or proteins including GPCRs, ion channels, enzymes, kinases, etc.
  • Reporter assay design for custom readouts.
